One of several leading cultural organisations associated with Mumbai, Sam Ved Contemporary society of Performing Arts, organized the 25th Raindrops event featuring varied classical styles of Indian dances, namely Bharatnatyam, Mohinattam, Odissi, Kathak & Manipuri. This 3 days extended dance festival that advances varied Indian traditional dances was held at Ravindra Natya Mandir and also celebrated its silver jubilee. It was exciting to see different styles of dances on a single platform over the weekend and some dances were even conducted by amazing young designers. The event began along with lamp lighting ceremony then the row of completed dancers who performed with the festival. Over the period of 3 days Kathak was performed by Rina Mehta, Vishal Krishna and also Anuj Mishra. Namrata Gupta and also Rajashri Praharaj danced Odissi, where Suhani Dhanki and Mrinalini Biswas danced the actual bharatnatyum. There was also Radhika Nair dancing Mohiniattam and also Shreya Ayyub dancing Manipuri.
